Calabash Cove is NOT for Families

Yes it's true we don't take children at any time of the year, so if you are looking for a family vacation in the Caribbean, cross us off your list.

It's not because we don't like kids, it is because the majority of our guests over the years have said they prefer a kid free zone. It creates an atmosphere of calm and the ability to rest and relax properly. Difficult to achieve with children running and jumping and shrieking by the pool.

We find this policy serves us well and as we are a 26 roomed boutique resort, for us and our guests it's perfect.

If you want endless choices of restaurants don't book us.

By saying already we are a small boutique resort, I guess it's obvious that we don't have those things, however you'd be surprised how many people miss that and then are dissappointed with what we have. Our Windsong Restaurant and our Poolside lunch venue, have extensive menus serving superb food. We are also noted for our varied Vegan menu.

Are you really OK paying all kinds of supplements over and above your All-Inclusive Rate?

If you are then fine but we don't do that. We don't charge extra for room service and there are zero supplements on our menus. If Lobster is in season then it's included.

We give you a full wet bar in your room, not just a few beers, cokes and a bottle of wine. You get a range of Spirits and Mixers, wines, beers and soft drinks.

We call it the "UNCONDITIONAL ALL-INCLUSIVE"

Are you wondering where the disco/nightclub is? Don't waste time looking; we don't have one.

Calabash Cove guests range in age on average from mid thirties to seventies, but they all have one thing in common. They come here to rest because many have stressful jobs and circumstances. They want to catch up on some reading, get a massage or a facial and take dinner looking out over a moonlit seascape.

So when looking for extensive night life, try IBIZA!!

Want a busy beach with Jet Skis for Rent?

Not here I'm afraid. Our beach is a pristine, relatively small beach and never crowded. It goes with the territory by being peaceful and without Jet Skis!

A Festival That Celebrates More Than Music Each year, Saint Lucia comes alive with rhythm, colour, and creativity—and in 2026, the island’s most anticipated cultural celebration promises to be bigger and more inspiring than ever. The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival , taking place from April 30 to May 10, 2026 , is a vibrant fusion of world-class music, immersive art, and authentic Caribbean culture. For travellers seeking more than just a beach holiday, this iconic festival offers an unforgettable way to experience the soul of Saint Lucia—where every note, every brushstroke, and every performance tells a story. The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival is far more than a traditional jazz event. Since its beginnings in 1992, it has evolved into one of the Caribbean’s premier cultural showcases, blending genres such as jazz, R&B, reggae, soca, gospel, and pop with theatre, visual arts, and culinary experiences. In 2026, the festival continues this rich tradition with an expanded arts programme running from April 25 to May 15 , transforming the island—especially the capital, Castries—into a living gallery of creativity. Visitors can expect: Open-air art exhibitions and installations Theatre productions and spoken word performances Film showcases highlighting Caribbean storytelling Pop-up performances and cultural activations across the island From bustling city streets to serene coastal communities, the festival invites guests to explore Saint Lucia through its artistic heartbeat.
